The company Ramseier AG, is a major powder coater in Switzerland with over 100 employees. Ramseier AG was a trendsetter in the area of powder fast change technology for over the past 20 years. Numerous developments like the self-cleaning booth and, powder recovery systems were developed and used initially in house for Ramseier AGs own coating needs. These products were then sold by well-known equipment suppliers under private label to the world marketplace. These products have been established worldwide as state of the art technology. One of the products called SOFT SPRAY led to the foundation of Ramseier Technologies AG in March 2000.

SOFT SPRAY technology represents a quantum leap in powder coating. This concept was first studied by the automotive industry. With BMW as a strategic partner the breakthrough was successful since 2001.

With the exclusive cooperation of the Systems House Dürr, the worlds leading supplier of paint equipment for the auto industry, the world market is now accessible. With innovative technology and cooperation with the systems house Dürr BMW has retrofitted all off the clear coat lines. Other milestones are the various orders by GM where the combinations of the DDF pump and bell technology represents a new innovation in coating.

Moreover, Ramseier Technologies AG has taken over the earlier Ramseier Oberflächentechnik as of July 1st, 2004. Ramseier Oberflächentechnik has successfully installed more than 120 powder paint booths worldwide.
